Enhancing Oncology Model

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Service recently announced the next iteration of its Oncology Care Model (OCM)-- the Enhancing Oncology Model (EOM).

As the industry prepares for the launch of EOM, Integra Connect will be sharing educational perspectives -- based on its OCM experience , value-based care expertise, and technology leadership -- to help practices and payers succeed under EOM.

What is the Enhancing Oncology Model?

The Enhancing Oncology Model (EOM) is a voluntary program designed by the CMS Innovation Center as a way to  transform care for cancer patients, reduce spending, and improve the quality of person-centered care. The program components prioritize care coordination, quality, and health outcomes for patients, but also make participants accountable for total costs of care. EOM will begin on July 1, 2023.
